	Summary:
	The attics and superstructures affect every citizen who watches them from a pavement or a square. These structures participate in creating a new, aesthetically valuable pictures of the city space, regardless of styles and taste and including all necessary regulations and norms. The chronology and typology of attic constructions and superstructures in the past 30 years Vienna can be applied in other cities with similar history and urban structure.
