| | Prospects of irrigation In Serbia is mostly limited with available and
required water having in mind that irrigation consumes a lot of water. Aim of the paper
is to show potential for irrigation on catchment bases, introducing into analysis all
potential sources of water, namely: directs abstraction from rivers and channels,
abstraction from groundwater and using existing and/or planned reservoirs for water
supply and flood protection as multipurpose systems for irrigation. |
