| | The paper presents the mechanisms of action of microorganisms on the
concrete, or discuss the conditions necessary for their formation and development.
The analysis of the above-mentioned mechanisms, it was concluded that the degrading
activity of microorganisms on the best structure may prevent the implementation of
measures which imply that, in all conditions and for unlimited long period, provide high
protection basicity environment. This would imply a new approach to making concrete
technology.
This paper shows the applicability of concrete on the basis of ceramic aggregates, as
one of the possible solutions for greater resistance of the construction to aggresive
microbiological effects. |
