DETERMINATION OF LIMIT LOAD OF STATICALLY INDETERMINATE TRUSS STRUCTURES

 Summary:
 The paper presents the procedure of calculation of limit load of elasto – plastic truss structures exposed to action of proportional load which is gradually increased until the failure mechanism builds up. The calculation is based on the application of static and kinematic theorem which represent the basis of structural limit analysis providing the boundary load value in a rapid and efficient way. Application of these theorems were presented in examples of truss structures subjected to one and twoparametar loading.
