	Summary:
	Our economy and society depend heavily on efficient road transport - 85% of travel is done in cars and buses. This gives rise to the need for proper planning, execution and timely maintenance of roads, which is monitored by the quality indicators, such as safety, comfort, amenity while driving and operating costs in maintenance. This paper includes pavement condition assessment of the road Trebinje-Nevesinje, as a significant regional access road to hydropower plant in Nevesinje. After visual inspection and registration of damages, control calculation with dimensioning of pavement and evaluation of stresses and durability have been executed. In accordance with the results, the appropriate measures are given for repair and rehabilitation, in order to put the road into a state of necessary load-bearing ability and functionality.
