BUILDING RULE BOOK OF A TOWN SUBOTICA FROM 1938.

 Summary:
 In the year 1931. government passed one of the most important legal documents on building towns in kingdom Yugoslavia - Building Law. It was then, for a first time ordered, that every town and settlement must have Regulation plan, Decree of Implementation of the Regulation plan and Building Rule Book. The main characteristic of The Building Law was it’s al-inclusivness. Subotica Town Council in 1938, according to the 3th and 6th paragraph of The Building Law, the paragraph 90th from The Law of town comunes and according the recommendation of Town Building Commettee, adopted Building Rule Book of Town Subotica. It was the most detailed Building Rule Book ever made in Subotica. But it was implemented very shortly bacuse the Second World War broke out. Socio-political changes after the war caused adoption of a new Laws and changes in planning and building cities in a new country Federal People’s Republic of Yugoslavia.
