MODERN APPROACH TO CONCRETE STRUCTURES REPAIR

 Summary:
 Repair of reinforced concrete structures is usually caused by changes in stress patterns or by reduced amount of reinforcement in the structural elements, due to the effect of corrosion. This is a reason for detailed examination of the built materials and analysis of loads and stress patterns. According to results decision was made on the type and method of structural repair. Paper presents the modern methods for repair of reinforced concrete structures. The first part describes how to repair using carbon fibre bands and fabrics. Calculation for repair with carbon fibre was made in the program S & P FRP Lamella, under the current regulations for the calculation of carbon fibre EC2. Second part of the paper presents solution for reinforced concrete ribbed ceiling repair Reparation have been carried out by implementing new composite elements, for the most damaged parts of the ceiling and beams, as well as by applying light-weight beams in every other field of of ceiling ribs for smaller cracks. Besides these works also is presented reparation of minor damaged ribs adding a specially shaped steel in order to form composite sistem with undamaged parts of ribs and poured mixture as a epoxy- special mortars.
