 Summary:
Linear elastic analysis of reinforced concrete prismatic folded plate structure of various span lengths was carried out using finite strip method. The paper presents and comments obtained diagrams of displacements, rotations, internal forces, moments and stresses. Analysing the shape of these diagrams, it is concluded that the boundary between "long" and "short" folded plate structures of selected cross section lies between the range of L=10m and L=20m, which corresponds to length/with ratio of entire structure between L/B=0.86 and L/B=1.72, ie. span length ratio of individual plates between ly/lx=3.19 i ly/lx=6.37.
