Master’s Studies
Where to next?
Master’s studies help you gain specialised knowledge to advance your career. The current labour market is highly competitive. Among candidates with similar experience, companies are more inclined to choose candidates with a higher education degree. A master’s degree demonstrates advanced knowledge in a specific field, but also shows employers that you possess the necessary dedication and business ethics.
Master’s studies can help you in your personal development, in addition to upgrading your professional knowledge and skills. Students often have to complete their projects independently, without teacher supervision, thus developing skills of self-confidence, independence, prioritisation, and meeting deadlines.

Civil engineering
According to their interests, students opt for one of the modules:
- Architectural engineering module – design
- Concrete structures engineering module
- Metal structures engineering module
- Traffic roads engineering module
- Hydrotechnics and environmental water engineering module
The Architectural Engineering Module – design perfects curious students in the field of building design, internal space organisation and exterior design, as well as the sustainability of urban space.
The Concrete Structures Module thoroughly studies concrete and its application, possibilities, and properties in various structures (structures such as bridges, walls, foundations, etc.).
The Metal Structures Module places special emphasis on increasing students’ knowledge of metal structures, as well as various calculations related to this type of material.
Traffic Roads Module improves students’ skills in traffic roads (roads, tunnels, bridges, and other traffic facilities), their management, maintenance, protection, and damage repair.
The Hydrotechnics and Environmental Water Engineering Module expands the knowledge of students in designing and constructing hydrotechnical structures, applying geoinformation systems in this area, and measuring and studying various impacts of water.
Geodesy
The second level of studies – master’s academic studies, for obtaining the title of MSc Geodesy (60 ECTS) is carried out during the period of one year. Students who complete their master’s studies have a total of 300 ECTS points.
