 Summary:
 Countries define critical infrastructure in their own way, having certain similar attitudes, but also differences depending on the general level of development, the level of development and the general condition of infrastructure, budgetary possibilities, etc. Also, there are different approaches to risk assessment, protection methods and management practices in general. The paper presents an analysis of the existing legislation on critical infrastructure in the Republic of Serbia, as well as performs comparison with the legal practice in the region and the European Union.
