 Summary:
The aim of the testing series that started in 2015 in the hydraulic laboratory of the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Subotica is preparation of the non-submerged thin-plate weir for measuring discharge hydrographs. Fixing the points of adherence and separation is the essence of the preparation. This presents novelty in respect to the current international standard. Earlier papers of this author presented the experimental results of full-width thin-plate weirs of different height P equipped with nappe aerator called artificial finger. This paper presents the results of a thin-plate weir of height P=0.2 m with side contraction.
