 Summary:
 The building of the National Library in Užice was built by architect Stanko Mandić from 1958 to 1961, as part of the of the Partisans Square. Location in the northern zone of the market, along with the National Theatre and Post office. National library is located at the northern end of the Partisans Square. The building was modeled with the intent to meet the needs of urban design Partisans Square and intention to build low facility in the north of the complex in order to make the connection with a green background in the surrounding hills. In the basement there is a depot for the needs of the library, on the ground floor of the library reading room, while the upstairs offices are organized around a central mounted corridor. Partisans Square is one of the most important urban and architectural achievement of Modern in the Republic of Serbia and the former Yugoslavia.
