 Summary:
Water distribution systems measure water consumption – mostly by water meter. Technical regulations define the accuracy of calibrated water meters. Hydraulic laboratory of Faculty of Civil Engineering in Subotica (in 1989 and in 2009) and institution for calibration of ”Potiski vodovodi” Ltd. in Horgos (in 2009) investigated the feasibility of producing hydrographs by the means of calibrated water meters having nominal diameter of 20 mm and maximum discharge of 3 m3/h. The required minimum duration of the measurement resulting the requsted accuracy is decreasing with the discharge. Its range is established as 37,2 to 60 seconds.
