| | Current practice in road maintenance was examined with the aim to build a
strategy to conduct operation and maintenance activities on the motorway network. Interviews were made with key stakeholders, including maintenance managers at the state road administration and in the road maintenance units, assessing capacity and identifying potential partners both within the administration and in the private sector. Status and capacity of the existing road maintenance units were reviewed with the aim to improve management and maintenance practices of motorways. |
