 Summary:
 Research shown in this paper represents a part of the doctoral thesis made by the first author while the second author was the mentor during preparation of this thesis. Research includes experimental and numerical analysis of the behavior of reinforced concrete (RC) and prestressed concrete beams whose joints were con structed with prestressed bolts positioned perpendicular and parallel to the longitudinal axes of the beam under the influence of the trial loads until failure. The aim of this research was to acquire a better insight into behavior of beams joined with pre stressed bolts.
