 Summary:
 Big Bang – Big Crunch algorithm is relatively new optimization method inspired by one of the theories of the evolution of the universe. In this paper, the algorithm is presented for solving optimum design of spatial truss structure. Numerical results of solving a benchmark problem demonstrate the efficiency of the presented method compared with other authors’ results.
