NUMERICAL ANALYSIS OF FIRE RESISTANCE OF SOME TYPES OF FLOOR STRUCTURES

 Summary:
 This paper presents the numerically achieved results for the fire resistance of several types of floor structures which are mostly used in our buildings. Types of floor structures are selected as representatives in construction of individual houses. Using the software SAFIR (University of Liege, Belgium) the fire resistance of four different types of floor structures is calculated, as: solid RC floor slabs, semi-prefabricated reinforced concrete slab systems FERT, YTONG and STIRODOM (with ceiling styrodur). The fire resistance is defined with respect to the criteria of usability of the structures in fire conditions, according to the applicable standards in this area. Material properties and applied loads are taken in accordance with the Eurocodes and our relevant regulations.
