 Summary:
Although the damage caused by earthquake, more on above-ground than underground structures, the effects of earthquake on underground facilities are not negligible, as is often assumed. Therefore, in order to ensure the stability of the underground facility, it is necessary, apart a stress from the static load, predict stress from seismic loading. Past experience has shown that the response of tunnel in earthquake impact caused by the response of the surrounding soil, and many analysis of damage shows that the parameters that influence their occurrence and degree are numerous and very diverse. This paper provides a brief overview of the analysis of ground motion during an earthquake, seismic loading and behavior analysis of tunnel in an earthquake. In addition, we analyzed the influence dimension cross-sectional of the tunnel on the seismic response of the tunnel and their impact on the value of the axial force in the primary support.
