 Summary:
 This paper presents the results of experimental and theoretical studies of model columns composite cross section of steel and concrete. The columns are formed of concrete-filled steel tubes. Ultimate bearing capacity of the columns was analyzed through the variation of mechanical properties of the basic material by applying European regulations Eurocode 4.
